Did a little halloween decorating yesterday. Love the way everything turn out. When it comes to the holidays I love making my own decor ! I’m just a DIY type of gal ! Cinco de Mayo is this sunday! One of my favorite holidays! Can’t wait to eat all the delicious food and yummy mexican candy. SO, I wanted to share a few of my CINCO DE MAYO DIY’s. I had a lot of fun making the little chili peppers out of streamers and tissue paper. It only took me about half an hour and all of my materials were bought at my local dollar tree store.
When I was planning my wedding. I wanted to have a guest book that was something unique and to keep out as a decor, instead of a book put away. So I came up with a guest book globe. I had a globe that I bought at my local goodwill store for $3, gave it a little makeover with some chalkboard paint and it was done. My guest sign the globe with a white marker so it wouldn’t smear with chalk . All my guest had a great time signing it and now I have it here at home to look at everyday and read all the sweet notes my family and friends wrote.
